Press Statement of the 250th Meeting of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union Held on 30 November 2010, TRIPOLI, LIBYA.

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 250th meeting held at the level of Heads of State and Government in Tripoli, Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, on 30 November 2010, welcomed the overall smooth conduct of the 2nd round of the presidential election in Côte d’Ivoire, on 28 November 2010, and, in this respect, noted with satisfaction the statements of the Special Representative of the Secretary‐General of the United Nations and the ECOWAS Observer Mission.
