Retreat - Conclusions
The Peace and Security Council of the African Union hold retreats in order to further enhance its capacity to more effectively discharge its mandate. Retreats mostly focusing on the review of working methods as well as on critical thematic issues relating to its work. The first PSC retreat was held in July 2007 in Dakar, Senegal.
