The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 170th meeting, held on 18 February 2009, was informed of the signing in Doha, on 17 February 2009, of the Agreement of Good Will and Confidence Building for the Settlement of the Problem in Darfur, by the Government of National Unity (GoNU) of the Sudan and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM).
